Responsibilities
• Work with crew to complete electrical projects on time and within high quality standards
• Estimate time, materials and equipment required to complete tasks
• Plan and organize tasks and materials for work projects and activities
• Prepare and submit reports and documentation as requested, report any safety and quality issues to management
• Assist in design, development and testing, preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
• Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components
• Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
• Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
• Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
• Conduct the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
• Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
Qualifications
• 1+ years of electrical experience
• Post-secondary related education is an asset
• Experience with manufacturing management software would be considered an asset
• Able to work in high-pressure and time-sensitive conditions
• Attention to detail with a well-rounded work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members
