Electrical Assembler

This is a straight day shift in Pickering, Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM-3:45 PM and the rate of pay is $20.15 per hour and they are looking for a start asap.


Ensure pulled parts for specific assemblies agree with the Bill of Material
Assemble products using various hand tools required
Performs ongoing visual inspection
Test finished product
Packages finished product and transport to Holding Area
Cleanup of workstation
Other duties related to assembly functions

Responsibilities
Electrical assembly
Soldering and crimping
Inspect and check the quality of work
Working with small hand tools
Operate a saw at times
Pack completed products for shipment

Qualifications
Must have prior assembly experience to be considered for this role (electronic assembly would be considered an asset)
Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check in order to be considered
Work in compliance with SOPs / ISO, PIP (Partners in Protection), and Safety Programs
Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
Work well with others
Good housekeeping skills
Ability to do some heavy lifting if required
Basic mathematics
