What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Responsible for the day to day monitoring and management of data transmissions for TJXC third party systems. Ensures integrity and timeliness of all EDI\API transmissions in support of operations best practices. Focus is on TMS systems.
- Executes daily checks and balances to ensure completeness of data transmissions related to operational applications facilitating automated exchange of daily business workflow documents (e.g. invoices, purchasing orders, shipping forms etc.) between TJXC and 3PL within Blue Yonder (BY) and Oracle TMS (OTM)
- Creates and maintains effective management processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of EDI transmissions, collaborating with team and Manager of Logistics Business System
- Partners with 3PL and corporate IT to troubleshoot technical issues and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve within identified SLAs to minimize disruptions and ensure that data transfers between TJXC and 3PL flow on time and accurately in accordance with TJXC SLA
- Tracks and reports on EDI data compliance based on agreed standards for area of responsibility to ensure efficient and secure data exchange within TMS
- Researches and identifies opportunities to improve process efficiencies to maximize TJXC investment in EDI technology and 3PL
- Acts as SME for data transmissions, data interchanges and validation for TJXC Logistics providing insight and information impacting the proactive management of merchandize flow and operations cost within TMS
Qualifications
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Experience in EDI and Data transmissions, including basic understanding of EDI Protocols and Compliance Standards required
- Technical systems knowledge in the following areas: Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with communication protocols used for transmitting EDI files securely such as FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol)
- Data Formats: Understanding of structures data formats like XML (Extensible Markup Language) and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)
SQL Server: Proficiency in working with and querying databases to track transactions (Power BI, Access, SQL Server and queries, Agile
methodologies).
- EDI Standards: Knowledge of EDI standards such as AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) and VAN (Value-Added Network)
- Data Formats: Understanding of structures data formats like XML (Extensible Markup Language) and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)
- Relational databases and tools: Proficiency in working with and querying databases to track transactions
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, including compiling large volume of data into meaningful information
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to track information in interconnected and diverse applications
- Demonstrated organizational and development skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members
**Minimum experience required is 2.5 - 3 years , EDI experiencce in logistics and TMS is a must have.
