Reporting to the head of the Canadian leadership team, the Director of Wholesale will drive strategic priorities and lead a sales team dedicated to brand categories and consumer segments while ensuring profitable growth for the brand as it is distributed and sold to major department stores, retail and franchise partners.
A member of the Canadian leadership team, the Director of Wholesale is responsible for driving vision, brand strategy, and business plans while leading through a People First approach.

About the Role
Build vision:
Drive business plans and communicate strategic priorities for the Wholesale organization
Apply Business acumen:
Develop and execute Financial Plans and drive proactive and productive processes that improve company and customer profitability.
Develop sell-in strategies:
Enhance growth and work closely with key customers to optimize profitability
Lead partner relationship strategies (retail, franchise):
Develop full-cycle product selection approaches from product merchandise assortments to shipping.
Deepen relationships and drive results with internal stakeholders and cross-functional leaders:
Promote effective relationships at all levels, building strong partnerships with business units and leaders involved in all facets of Merchandising and Planning.
Note: This is a hybrid role requesting in-office attendance at a minimum of two days per week
Qualifications
About You
Wholesale leadership experience in the retail apparel business, ideally 10+ years.
Stellar track record of developing and monitoring successful business plans, and allocating strategic marketing funds.
Strong reputation and experience building high-performance teams through mentoring, coaching and guiding career growth.
Solid understanding of the retail environments in Canada coupled with a track record of delivering sales results.
Experienced in creating increased strategic alignments with key accounts.
A true leader and excellent communicator who thrives on building relationships.
Adept at introducing and identifying sales and marketing opportunities and concepts in a diverse selling environment.
Astute sense of competitive retail/wholesale markets.
Agile and adaptable, inclined to pivot quickly when faced with marketplace changes and challenges.
Exceptional presentation skills and executive presence - excels in negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, presentation and selling.
Results-oriented and driven to succeed in dynamic, complex environments
Bachelors Degree preferred
