Responsibilities
• Forecasting for the Canadian Market Division
• Leading the Regional Sales Managers across Canada
• Develop Sales and Growth Strategies
• Sit on the leadership team and provide overall guidance
• Drive the sales of products and services while achieving the objectives outlined by group management
• Developing new customers including repair and service of competitor products
• Promote sales of spare parts, services, and complete units including retrofit opportunities
• Work with Inside Sales, Field Service, Retrofit, and Engineering departments to establish schedules and priorities for field, in-house repairs, part and unit sales, retrofit projects, and engineering
• Provide sales support for direct sales to end users, OEM, and Distributor organizations
Qualifications
• Post-secondary Education – Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent - Mechanical Engineering an asset
• Related experience with Rotating Machinery products & services.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical power transmission equipment, service, and retrofits sales
• Experience leading an industrial product sales team
• Previous leadership experience (minimum 3 years) - managing a sales team - hiring, coaching, mentoring, etc.
• Effectively provide leadership and guidance across branches to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinker as well as a tactical executer
• Strong communication skills, analytical skills, business acumen, and knowledge
• Exemplary relationship building, relationship management skills, ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and provide a positive influence
• Passion and drive for results
