Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day operations for 3 manufacturing facilities (2 in Manitoba and one in the US)
- Directly reporting to the General Manager
- Overseeing several departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality Control
- Assessing and improving business processes for several departments
- Collaborate with the General Manager in developing business plans and budgets
- Project Management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment is mandatory (2+ years)
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong Leadership skills with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications as well as SAP
- Own vehicle is required and the ability to travel within the US and Canada
- Ability to work with great attention to detail and high accuracy
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
