Responsibilities
* Manage and continue to develop a growing team of 7-10 AP professionals
* Create and report on KPI's specific to the AP department
* Oversee reconciliations pertaining to the AP department and support the month end close process
* Integrate the AP of acquisitions in a seamless and efficient manner
* Preparation of monthly and annual reports for Management
* Aid in the preparation of the annual audit
* Investigate any AP discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner
* Builds relationships with vendors and colleagues within Financial Reporting, Treasury and
Operations.
* Establish the AP department budget and ensure optimal cost savings
* Hire & onboard new AP hires and provide continuous training and development
* Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all vendor invoice payments in accordance with vendor terms and
policies.
*Provide recommendations for updates to existing policies and procedures to ensure best
practices are maintained.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related major
* 10+ years accounts payable at the managerial level
* Solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles
* Motivational leadership style, with a focus on developing people up
* Experience establishing and monitoring KPI's
* Advanced analytical skills
* large ERP systems experience
