PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Design and Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions using Databricks, ensuring best practices in data engineering and analytics.
•Azure Integration: Integrate Databricks with Azure services such as Azure Storage and Azure Active Directory to leverage cloud capabilities.
•Data Engineering Best Practices: Apply knowledge of best practices for designing and implementing scalable and cost effective data solutions on Databricks, focusing on data quality, integrity, and security.
•Collaboration: Collaborate with existing data engineers to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure seamless integration of data solutions.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering using Databricks.
•Technical Skills:
•Deep understanding and experience with Databricks, including its architecture and analytics capabilities.
•Familiarity with integrating Databricks with Azure services.
•Knowledge of best practices for designing scalable data solutions.
•Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
•Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
•Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
•Soft Skills:
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
•Certification in Databricks or Azure is advantageous.
