Responsibilities
Analyze and document data requirements through document analysis and legacy ETL reverse engineering
Design and implement scalable data solutions using enterprise cloud platforms
Create and validate conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with organizational architecture and governance
Build and optimize data flows and pipelines, including migration of legacy data
Collaborate with data architects, information governance teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical issues clearly across various stakeholder groups
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
7+ years of experience in SQL programming, including code refactoring and optimization
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
Proven experience in:
Reverse engineering legacy ETL builds and designing source-to-target mappings
Dimensional and relational data modeling
ETL development and modernization
Hands-on experience with:
Databricks and medallion architecture
SQL, Python, and Apache Spark
Microsoft Azure or other public cloud platforms
Agile delivery methodologies
IBM Data Manager
Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Assets (Nice to Have)
Experience with ERWIN or similar data modeling tools
Familiarity with Denodo data virtualization
Experience developing reports with Power BI
Bilingualism in English and French
