Responsibilities
Duties for the Customer Service Administrator include:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and creating the purchase orders
- Issue updates on manufacturing schedules to ensure that products can be produced as required
- Maintain and communicate customer delivery schedules and communicate any changes as necessary
- Assisting the shipping department with any required freight communication and/or customs documentation
- Update customer with the forecast and status of products that are being ordered
- Confirm and check the accuracy of purchase orders in the system
- Communicate with customers over the phone and through email
- Follow all necessary steps to ensure accuracy and safety
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing or Infor VISUAL ERP software and handling purchase orders
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills is required in this role, supporting the shipping department
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ask questions and find answers/solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure and continue providing a high level of customer service
