Responsibilities
• Greet customers, provide product information, and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive purchasing experience.
• Accurately process customer orders, including entering details into the system, preparing invoices, and handling payments.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish inventory, and assist in organizing the sales floor to ensure product availability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and promotions to effectively recommend solutions to customers.
• Address and resolve customer concerns, returns, and warranty claims promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Monitor, audit, document, and correct inventory control discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle and year-end inventory counts in the showroom and warehouse.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and address inventory variances.
• Work with the sales team to resolve warranty return issues.
• Support the sales team by investigating inventory discrepancies like variances and stock outs.
• Help develop training resources for showroom, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control SOPs.
• Serve as the main contact for inventory-related matters.
• Complete daily shipping, receiving, and administrative tasks safely and accurately.
• Follow health and safety policies, including PPE requirements.
• Monitor and escalate customer service concerns as needed.
• Provide coverage for the Counter Sales Representative during vacations and peak times.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in counter sales or customer service is an asset.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills for addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balancing sales and warehouse duties.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong active listening skills.
