Responsibilities
Oversee the company's accounting and financial aspects to ensure financial health.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, source deductions, and monthly financial statements.
Handle taxes and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and investment planning.
Develop and negotiate new financing opportunities, including credit lines, financing plans, insurance providers, employee benefits, and medical plans.
Manage currency exchanges between the Canadian dollar (CAD) and the US dollar (USD).
Negotiate favorable payment terms with suppliers to optimize cash flow.
Collaborate with management to drive company growth and financial performance.
Supervise and support the accounting clerk in executing daily tasks and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA designation (a strong asset)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management
Bilingual (French and English) – international exposure
Excellent organizational skills – ability to manage priorities effectively
Autonomous and proactive – ability to work independently
Proficient in technology – experience with ERP/CRM systems, Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.
