Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate accounting operations (general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, monthly and annual closings).
- Manage and lead a team of 20 employees, including training and skills development.
- Ensure compliance with the accounting and regulatory standards in force.
- Coordinate the production of financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate with the various offices located in multiple provinces to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial processes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.
- Manage relations with external and internal auditors.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to minimize financial risks.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Accounting designation (CPA) a major asset.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting, including several years in team supervision.
- Experience in multi-site management or collaboration with offices in different provinces.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and ERP accounting systems.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication and change management skills.
