Responsibilities
Budget Management:
Align with marketing units on anticipated spending and approved budgets.
Prepare and consolidate budgets for upload into financial systems.
Perform variance analysis and review cost drivers.
Month-End Processes:
Prepare accruals and reclassifications for marketing business units.
Consolidate actuals by cost center/WBS and GL.
Perform variance analysis of actuals versus budgets.
Report on actuals vs. budget and provide visibility for budget owners.
Reconcile write-offs and track reasons for asset destruction.
System Operations:
Manage intercompany purchase orders and accruals.
Create and modify WBS/Cost Centers in SAP.
Ensure accurate and updated approval processes through system housekeeping twice a year.
Provide ad hoc support to marketing teams.
Qualifications
Experience:
1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a global FMCG or a similarly dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of finance tools and systems, including SAP, BI, BPC, and Excel.
Experience in strategic analysis, planning, execution, and project evaluation.
Ability to simplify complex situations and communicate information effectively.
Skills:
Proficiency in business performance metrics, commercial acumen, and data analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams.
Language:
Bilingual in French and English (mandatory for working with clients and suppliers in Quebec, Canada, and globally).
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA) are considered assets.
