Responsibilities
The duties of the CMM programmer machinist are :

- Inspection of metal parts
- Programming and operation of the CMM machine
- Documenting measurements and the machine process
- Responsible for delivery and dispatch of parts
- All related tasks

Qualifications
The skills sought for the CMM programmer machinist are :

- DEC in CMM programming or/and ;
- DEP in machining or/and ;
- ASP in machining on numerically controlled machine tools;
- 2-3 years' experience in the metallurgical field
