Responsibilities
-Opening new claims and entering into the system
-Administrative Support to Claims team
-Adding the relevant documents to the file
-Adding new reserves for approval
-Monitoring inbox, reviewing what’s urgent, and following up. When there is approval, you must enter it into the system and send it for approval.
Qualifications
-The ideal combination of education and experience - a university degree or college diploma and
-Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred
-2+ years of relevant experience.
-Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to collate and accurately summarize appropriate and timely data sets through Excel.
-Keen interest in numbers and a numerical background preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS 360, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) with a particular focus on Excel skills.
-Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
-Takes initiative, is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
-A proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines and driving for results.
-Experience working closely with others and enjoy an atmosphere of cross-collaboration.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-The ability to thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
