Responsibilities
a) Develop an OCM approach based on awareness of the details on the change and the groups being impacted by the change;
b) Assist with development of current solution architecture;
c) Assist with project planning;
d) Develop and implement organizational change management plans and accompanying communications, and communications plans;
e) Assist with development and documentation of internal processes;
f) Conduct change impact assessments according to Ministry stakeholder groups;
g) Liase with the respective Ministry stakeholders to understand goals, objectives, benefits and risks of the proposed changes;
h) Develop and analyse mitigation plans for people-related risks;
i) Assist with the development of an organizational design process;
j) Assist with transition plans;
k) Conduct or participate in workshops and requirements gathering sessions;
l) Develop coaching and training plans specific to the design of IPS to help facilitate the change;
m) Develop and implement a resistance management plan;
n) Develop Ministry stakeholder registers and risk profiles;
o) Assist with the development of end user training for IPS users;
p) Assist with the development of the structure and schedule for informal and formalized learning and skills development;
q) Develop training toolkit;
r) Participate in Project Close Out activities such as documenting Lessons Learned; and
s) Assist with the development of an ongoing operational support model.
Qualifications
- Providing change management and communications expertise by being the assigned change management consultant and work independently to support OCM and communication activities and operational support initiatives;
- Working with the respective stakeholders to understand goals, objectives, benefits and risks of the proposed changes;
- Development and execution of end user training for a large group of users;
- Development of a set of actionable and targeted training plans and deliverables which may include but are not limited to communication plan, coaching and training plan, resistance management plan, measurement, recognition and reward plan, sponsor road maps detailing actions for executives, stakeholder registers and risk profiles;
