Responsibilities
Receive and inspect all incoming mail and packages from various mail carriers, with a primary focus on UPS.
Process all incoming and outgoing paperwork, including bill of lading, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.
Pick orders accurately according to manual pick sheets, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
Safely operate a Hyundai counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and load products and materials as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse storage areas, ensuring products are stored safely and accessibly.
Collaborate with the warehouse manager to prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
Assist in inventory management by accurately recording stock movements and performing cycle counts as required.
Support general warehouse functions and perform other duties as assigned to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario forklift certification is mandatory.
Experience in operating a Hyundai counterbalance forklift or similar equipment.
Proficient in processing paperwork such as bill of lading and familiar with shipping/receiving procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills to manage warehouse inventory and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with mail carriers, team members, and supervisors.
Dedication to safety protocols and practices in warehouse operations.
Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
