Responsibilities
• Safely operate a lift truck to pick up, move, lift, and unload a variety of materials and equipment;
• Order picking/packing
• Checking and verifying orders to ensure accuracy
• Receiving and restocking of incoming product;
• Inventory Cycle counts;
• Palletizing and Wrapping of skids;
• Assembles/tests fire hydrants; touch up valves
• Paints touch ups on fire hydrants/valves, etc
• Safely operates hand/air tools; Assembly of small parts
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions;
• Follows all health and safety regulations;
• Any other duties as assigned/required
Qualifications
- Valid forklift license;
- Experience loading Flat Decks;
- Physically fit and able to keep up in a fast paced environment
- Experienced in utilizing hand/power tools.
- Positive attitude
- Able to take instructions and work alone, with minimal supervision.
- Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
- Experience in spray painting
- Overhead crane experience considered and asset but not required.
