- Analyzes Business requirements and create technology requirements by collaborating with different business teams.
-Create Technology solutions by collaborating with technology team members.
-Deliver end-to-end solution using high quality standards in a fast paced environment.
-Ability to trouble shoot issues and provide solutions to the issues.
-Willing to learn Financial business and new programming languages.
-The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into production and also have outstanding communication skills.
Qualifications
Skills Required
-Hands on programming experience in C++/Python/Java is required
-Hands on Programming experience in scripting languages Perl/Shell scripting is required
-Experience with querying and analyzing the data using Sybase and MS Excel
-Fixed Income/MBS business knowledge is a definite preference.
-Hands on programming experience in KDB+/Q/Functional programming is plus.
Summary
Our client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable measures to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French and only requires this where it is necessary, and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfill these job duties.
It has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
