Responsibilities
Purchasing – 75%
Negotiate and purchase raw materials (steel).
Negotiate and purchase parts for power units.
Manage tool procurement needs.
Handle the purchase of goods and services and analyze requirements.
Coordinate with various departments regarding order reception, delivery timelines, and other relevant purchasing information.
Monitor supplier deliveries.
Work with the quality team to ensure materials meet the standards and specifications for hydraulic cylinders.
Track non-conformities of raw materials, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues.
Prepare reports on supplier performance, purchasing costs, and inventory levels to inform management.
Administration – 25%
Adjust inventory records in the system following the annual inventory count.
Monitor goods in transit.
Analyze different inventory levels (min/max).
Enter finished product and purchased product price lists into the system.
Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications
DEC in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
5 to 10 years of experience in procurement.
Experience in the manufacturing sector.
Experience in the steel industry.
Knowledge of customs compliance requirements and customs classification (HS code).
Bilingual.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Knowledge of Acomba, Servicentre, and WMS (an asset).
Skilled in a multi-currency environment.
