Responsibilities
•Gather, analyze, and document workflow needs, end-user requirements, and system functionalities, producing clear and precise technical artifacts.
•Lead or participate in design sessions, capturing use cases and ensuring alignment with identified objectives.
•Collaborate with the vendor’s resource to understand capabilities, define configuration requirements, and plan data migration from existing systems.
•Develop and maintain process flow illustrations, integration design documents, and data migration strategies.
•Conduct workshops, interviews, and 1-on-1 meetings with the Animal Care Services team and other relevant stakeholders, summarizing findings to inform solution design.
•Manage documentation review cycles, leading the feedback process for business unit approval.
•Contribute to or refine backlog items and user stories in agile/hybrid frameworks, ensuring tasks align with established timelines and priorities.
•Provide progress updates to the Project Manager, track potential risks, and propose mitigations in line with project milestones
Qualifications
•Experience implementing COTS enterprise applications and working in higher education or similar contexts.
•Strong process flow documentation, data mapping, and system configuration learning capabilities.
•Demonstrated background in agile/hybrid delivery, leading workshops, and managing structured documentation for functional/business requirements.
•Skill in data migration planning, documentation, and execution for system-to-system integrations.
•Familiarity with Azure DevOps, knowledge of the research administration lifecycle, or experience coordinating system-to-system integrations involving ERP.
•Lean certification (green/black) or experience working with complex stakeholder groups, including faculty or research staff.
