As a Business Analyst II, you will provide compliance research, analysis, reporting, and coordination support to ensure effective oversight of key initiatives. This role is well-suited for someone with a background in capital markets, a strong understanding of compliance, and experience with securities and asset classes.
This is a 10 month contract with a possibility for extension/conversion.

Responsibilities
-Support compliance oversight functions by conducting research, reporting, and analytical work
-Track and coordinate compliance initiatives with internal partners and stakeholders
-Prepare executive-level communications, summaries, and presentations
-Identify and escalate potential issues or areas requiring further review
-Conduct internal and external research projects and contribute to policy/process development
-Apply sound judgment and risk management in all assigned tasks
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory guidelines and compliance best practices
-Foster a positive and inclusive team environment by actively participating and sharing knowledge
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
-2–4 years of relevant experience within capital markets and compliance
-Strong knowledge of securities and asset classes
-Familiarity with Canadian market mechanisms and trade surveillance
Nice to Have:
-CPA or CFA designation (or in progress)
-Experience using SQL
-Certifications such as CSC and/or IFIC
