Burner Machine Operator

piece measurement and qualification. He/she also should be able to work independently to
produce parts that meet customer requirement (quality and on time).

Responsibilities
Job Duties
 Operate cutting/burning machines
 Maintain a safe, clean and legally compliant workplace.
 Identify, investigate, correct and document potential production problems.
 Receive training and comply with Health and Safety requirements
 Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality,
safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
 Maintain high production efficiency for own work station
 Identify and determine quality and productivity related problems and solutions.
 Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
 Operate forklift and overhead crane as needed
 Provide instruction and assistance to material handlers as needed.

Qualifications

 Knowledge of Steel Industry Working Knowledge
 Understand blue print and CAD drawings.

Minimum 1 year of direct work experience in manufacturing environment.
Direct knowledge handling steel (handling, cutting, storage and care).
 Strong inventory and production management skills.
 Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with
vendors, customers, and internal departments.
 Should have a good working knowledge of ISO 9000 systems.
 Highly capable of multi-tasking, with minimal supervision.
 Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
 Able to interface directly with cross functional teams.
 Knowledge of product identification and traceability.
 Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.




Summary
Remuneration: 25$-27$/hr. depending on experience.
