The Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations within our building maintenance department, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating maintenance staff, managing schedules, handling client relations, and maintaining quality control standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in building maintenance, janitorial or hospitality operations, with a passion for delivering excellent service.
The ideal candidate will be flexible with availability (interaction with night crews may sometimes be required). Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal backcheck.

Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure all tasks are executed efficiently.
-Develop and implement maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards.
-Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
-Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
-Serve as the primary contact for client communications, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
-Train and mentor maintenance staff, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
-Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for senior management.
-Foster a team environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
-Minimum 3 years experience in supervisory role within janitorial/building maintenance
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and team members
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between buildings in Winnipeg to meet with clients and communicate with on site cleaning staff
-Ability to pass a criminal back check
-Flexibility with shift times, must be available to check on night crew as needed
