Responsibilities
As the Branch Manager, reporting directly to the Territory Manager, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of insurance professionals to ensure both sales and service staff are consistently achieving production targets and maintaining efficient branch operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and Engage: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and motivated environment.
• Drive Growth & Customer Excellence: Champion the growth of the branch and ensure an exceptional customer experience that sets us apart.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work with management and peers to develop business strategies aimed at exceeding targets, and implement those plans effectively by leveraging your team’s strengths and regional resources.
• Brand and Territory Growth: Contribute to increasing growth and brand visibility in your Territory through innovative marketing initiatives.
• Recruitment & Staffing: Take charge of recruiting, staffing, and ensuring that your team is set up for success.
• Team Development: Manage, coach, and nurture your team, including regular one-on-one meetings, and proactively planning for succession.
• Employee Engagement: Develop and implement Engagement Action Plans, motivating staff to align with company objectives and keeping them informed of updates and shifts.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest standard of service quality, continuously evaluating customer experiences and implementing improvements.
• Problem Solving & Client Relations: Address and resolve any service and sales issues, handling escalated client concerns as needed.
• Partnership Development: Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key insurer partners.
• Financial Oversight: Assist with preparing and monitoring branch-level operating and expense budgets.
In this role, you’ll be pivotal to the success and growth of the branch, ensuring your team thrives while delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Qualifications
• AIC - General Level 2 or equivalent is required
• Leadership and management experience in insurance brokerage operations.
• Strong track record of leading highly engaged teams across multiple locations.
• Experience leading in a hybrid environment.
• Understand the needs of the customer (internal and external).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong team player and collaborator.
• College or university degree in related area or commensurate work experience.
• Management of projects or initiatives outside of daily areas of responsibilities with multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities; develops optimal solutions that maximize organizational performance.
• Required to travel within the Region as needed
