Responsibilities
- Keep financial records accurate and up to date using accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Apollo).
- Record daily financial activities like purchases, sales, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile statements and credit card transactions to make sure everything is correct.
- Track money owed (accounts payable) and payments coming in (accounts receivable) to ensure timely payments.
- Assist the finance team with various projects and tasks when needed.
- Work closely with the Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
- Perform other tasks as needed by the Director of Finance.
Qualifications
- A certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a medium-sized business environment.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
