Responsibilities
Process and validate attorney invoices before entry into the system.
Review and verify client invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, fees, and expenses.
Address and resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with attorneys and administrative staff.
Adjust time entries as needed (transfers, date changes, reallocation, project consolidations, etc.).
Assist attorneys in managing client accounts, including report generation.
Set up user profiles and update billing rates in the system.
Prepare reports using Maître software.
Support the accounting team with additional financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Diploma in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
Experience in billing, preferably within a law firm or professional services setting.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in French and English.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Skilled in task prioritization and managing a fast-paced workload.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Maître software (an asset).
Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills.
