We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Showroom Sales Consultant to work from this exclusive boutique environment in the East end of Ottawa. In this role, you'll be guiding clients through their entire purchase journey, helping them select the right products and materials, helping their realize their vision and projects.
Advantages
- Salary between 60K-62K depending on experience
- No weekends, Monday to Friday schedule
- On-site in Boutique Showroom
- Typical hours between 8am-5pm, with the occasional 10am-7pm shift on a rotating basis
- 2 weeks vacation
- Medical, Dental, Insurance Benefits available after 3 months
- Profit sharing plan
- Possibility of commission on certain products
Responsibilities
- Offer a white glove customer experience from start to finish
- Schedule appointments with clients who have large projects; determine their needs and recommend products
- Create all orders, quotes or bids in the computer, using already established procedures, pricing etc. from the Sales Manager, and ensure accuracy of information.
- Provide client information by phone, email or in person, for all custom and specialty items
- Follow up on all client files, work closely with purchasing and manufacturers to ensure delivery and service in agreed timeframe
- Meet with representatives from different product manufacturers to obtain information on specific products
- Use creative problem solving to assist with issues
- Assist in maintaining the standards of the showroom
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English
- 1-2 years of sales experience, high ticket or luxury sales an asset
- Great understanding of delivering white glove service
- Tact, good judgement, creative problem solving
- Passion for learning products
- High level of comfort with MS Office suite, ERP or Order entry systems
- Able to manage stress effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a criminal backcheck
