Responsibilities
- Evaluate Life and Critical Illness applications in both French and English, reviewing medical, financial, and lifestyle underwriting data.
- Perform risk assessments in line with the company's underwriting guidelines.
- Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Provide outstanding service to clients and advisors, ensuring their needs are met.
- Recognize challenges and areas for improvement, proposing effective solutions.
- Contribute to projects focused on technology enhancements and underwriting practices.
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of experience in individual life insurance underwriting.
- Proficient in both French and English communication.
- In-depth knowledge of medical and financial underwriting processes.
- Strong decision-making abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with brokerage distribution channels is a plus.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or Health Sciences is beneficial.
- FLMI and FALU certifications are nice to have.
