Location: Downtown Montreal (Hybrid - 1 day in-office per week)
Salary: $68,000 - $73,000 per year + up to 8% annual performance-based bonus

Our Client operates all across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to communicate with English speaking clients located outside Quebec on a daily/regular basis

Responsibilities
- Assess eligibility for short-term and long-term disability benefits.
- Analyze and evaluate medical and non-medical documentation to determine functional capabilities, restrictions, and limitations.
- Implement strategic interventions to facilitate a timely return to work.
- Conduct telephone interviews to gain a complete understanding of absences and necessary support measures.
- Guide clients through the absence and return-to-work processes, building strong relationships with both employers and employees.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure claim resolution.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
– Required to assist clients across Canada.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in disability case management, disability insurance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex claims and contracts.
- Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- Resilient and capable of managing challenging and sensitive situations.
- Comfortable working with multiple platforms and digital systems.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
