Responsibilities
- Gather vehicle history and problem details through consultations with customers regarding equipment
-Diagnose and restore malfunctioning valves and mechanical assemblies to optimal performance.
- Utilize visual inspection and computer diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues
- Conduct tests on specific parts and systems for proper functionality
- Provide remote troubleshooting for the Diesel Shut Down Systems over the phone
- Perform post-repair testing and diagnostics to ensure proper operation
- Assembles shut down valves and electrical harnesses
Qualifications
- At least two years of hands-on experience in a Auto technician role or similar repair-focused position.
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledgeable in electrical schematics and components (e.g., solenoids, relays)
- Skilled in visual diagnosis of mechanical issues
- Ability to troubleshoot and work with mechanical components effectively
- Remote troubleshooting expertise
- Welding skills would be an asset
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
