Our esteemed client, with 25 years of distinguished engineering expertise, seeks a dedicated Shop Technician to join their team. The role involves assembling valves, electrical components, as well as repairing and quality-checking a range of equipment and machines.

Responsibilities
- Perform post-repair testing and diagnostics to ensure proper operation
- Assembles shut down valves and electrical harnesses
- Gather vehicle history and problem details through consultations with customers regarding equipment
- Utilize visual inspection and computer diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues
- Conduct tests on specific parts and systems for proper functionality
- Provide remote troubleshooting for the Diesel Shut Down Systems over the phone
- Repair malfunctioning components, including valves and other mechanical parts
Qualifications
- At least 1 year work experience in shop or in related repair field
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledgeable in electrical schematics and components (e.g., solenoids, relays)
- Skilled in visual diagnosis of mechanical issues
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Remote troubleshooting expertise
- Welding skills would be an asset
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
