We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for a busy retail location located at Pearson Airport. The ideal candidate can adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, and build and maintain a top-tier sales team that prioritizes customer satisfaction. The growth potential is unlimited for an innovative thinker willing to take on new challenges.
This is a full-time, permanent, in-person role, based at Pearson Airport.

Responsibilities
Develop and mentor sales representatives to ensure they understand and follow the proper sales strategies and procedures.
Create and manage effective work schedules
Build a strong relationship with the Store Manager to recruit, train and develop team members.
Hold monthly documented meetings with the team.
Supervise the store opening and closing procedures.
Lead shift meetings ( opening, mid day, and closing)
Oversee the inventory of store suppliers.
Boost store and individual sales while on the sales floor.
Other duties to maintain the store/operations as required
Qualifications
At least 5 years of retail management experience - preference is for experience with high volume
Performance management and coaching experience is required
Experience coaching teams to meet/exceed sales targets
Operational experience is also a plus!
Strong communication skills in English (French is a nice to have)
Tech-savvy and experienced with various CRMs/portals
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work a flexible schedule (between 6am and midnight Monday-Sunday)
