We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Apprentice or Journeyman Welder to join our team in the charming town of Thorsby!
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with solid hours, strong mentorship, and hands-on work in heavy steel welding. If you’re eager to build your experience with 3/4" thick steel, MCAW welding, and hot spray transfers, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Welding beams, tower sections, and round bars
Running hot spray transfers
Stand-off welding, jigs, and tacking
Welding piping and flanges
Working primarily with MCAW in flat position
Some MIG welding (a bonus!)
Heavy steel fabrication
Prioritizing safety and punctuality
Willingness to learn and adapt on the job
💥 Experience with 3/4" thick steel is a big asset
💥 Must have wire welding experience
💥 CWB certification is a bonus but not required
Qualifications
🔍 Must-Haves:
Apprentice welders must have a bluebook
Journeyman welders considered at $28/hour
MCAW or FCAW welding experience is essential
Mig experience is an asset
Be prepared for weld tests as part of the hiring process
Previous experience in tank building, trailer building, or pipe welding (non-pressure) is a plus!
