In this role you will work full time hours on a 2 month assignment, earn a rate competitive within the industry.

• Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Candidates will be working remotely, 5 days per week, however, may be required to work onsite on occasion to meet client needs - Overtime may be required
Responsibilities
Deliverables
- Utilize bank quality assurance framework to review high risk enhanced due diligence and transaction monitoring cases completed by bank investigators
- Identify any gaps and provide recommendations for closure; where applicable, re-perform cases based on risk and criticality of profile
- Utilize scoring methodology where applicable to score review
- Where applicable, validate gap closure actions by the Bank
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in AML, financial crime investigations, or compliance roles.
4+ years of experience in Quality Review for AML investigations.
Strong knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations.
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS Certification - Required).
Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS Certification - Preferred).
Hands-on experience with AML tools such as Refinitiv, LexisNexis, Dow Jones, and Actimize.
Experience in quality checking Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
