Responsibilities
Report unserviceable maintenance equipment to their assigned Crew Chief.
Carry out inspections on aircraft following the applicable standards of airworthiness.
Ensure that all reportable service difficulties and maintenance irregularities are completed and forwarded to Quality Assurance and SMS in a timely manner.
Attend training courses as directed by company management.
Ensure all defects being deferred have been done following proper procedures.
Ensure material required for defect recertification's has been researched accurately and placed on order.
Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.
Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move on the job.
Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems to identify failures or potential failures and adjust or repair affected systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manual, and established procedures.
Maintain and repair airframe engine and propeller systems.
Perform and document routine and heavy maintenance.
Ensure the work environment is safe and clean.

Certify aircraft for return to services.
Qualifications
Transport Canada Certified AME - M License required.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
Must have strong trouble shooting skills with good quality workmanship.
Employee is expected to work towards obtaining an ACA.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
Dash-8 and CRJ experience is considered an asset
