Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to:
Establish marketing plans and strategies for various efforts.
Establish a marketing efforts calendar as well as production plans and timelines.
Establish marketing strategies together for our many brands and manage the budgets.
Establish the customer criteria for various mailing and email marketing efforts by entering everything in the system and logging it via data entry
Establish standards for our product content templates and such.
Manage our online reputation (what people are saying about us and how we should handle and respond).
Establish and implement strategy for video marketing efforts.
Coordinate our Bonus Content and Video programs (with both our the Content and Design teams).
Copywriting for various marketing projects, including: eblasts, webinars, social media
posts, ads, contests, bonus content, videos, etc.
Copywriting for online category shorts, brand stores, industry stores, etc.
Participate as a member of our in-house SEO team to establish and implement various
strategies to continuously work towards improving our organic traffic.
Review and analyze various stats for all marketing efforts... webinars, eblasts, websites,
search, etc... what are people doing on our websites/eblasts/etc and how can we use
this to know what we can expand and/or improve on;
Website searches, set up strategies and ad campaigns.
Reference our marketing plan and budget to implement the necessary efforts from start
to finish (from the plan to the launch and all the parts/steps in-between).
Collaborate with our suppliers/vendors to establish, implement, and monitor marketing
plans for participation in COOP and MDF programs.
Create various marketing efforts using our various tools (Mailchimp, etc).
Perform regular updates and audits on our websites to ensure information is accurate
and up-to-date.
Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or relevant experience Marketing.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills in English.
Strong time management skills and ability to balance and easily shift priorities as needed.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to understand and follow instructions as well as an ability to take initiatives with an overall
make things happen approach.
Experience reviewing the work you produce as well as the work from others.
Eagerness to learn and be an essential member of a dynamic team/company.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills in French.
