Responsibilities
Run pricing compliance on rollbacks and Save Now promotions to meet Canadian legal requirements and provide understandable explanation for failures to the merchant teams, suggest actions that can be taken to allow items to meet requirements.
Execute promotions and retail/cost changes, check that all required linked items are included and all required fields on the template are completed.
Support the process of creating and auditing deal funding to support promotional offers
Analyze all incoming pricing requests to ensure all price changes meet business and legal requirements.
Pull weekly flyer data from marketing applications, consolidate and create event downloads to serve as backups for flyer pricing for each province.
Manage major pricing events such as Black Friday and Boxing Week, running the appropriate compliance tests and creating event downloads to drive retail changes to stores.
Analyze and approve multi-save promotions, ensuring customers receive meaningful discount and that all business requirements are met. Assist in researching multi-save related store issues with merchant team.
Research pricing related store complaints, provide clear explanation to merchants and make suggestions on how to resolve as efficiently as possible.
Qualifications
1-2 years experience in retail Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, or relevant industry experience
Minimum Intermediate skillset in Microsoft products, specially Microsoft Excel
Experience in Pricing/cost maintenance, execution and integrity will be a strong asset
Merchandising item set up and maintenance experience
Experienced in collaborating with multiple cross functional partners across Merchandising, Technology, and Finance.
