As an Accounts Receivable and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of customer data. This includes checking data integrity, updating information and carrying out regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies. The role also involves minimizing the risk of bad debts by carrying out in-depth credit assessments and due diligence on customer accounts. In addition, the analyst is responsible for maximizing accounts receivable collections through proactive communication with customers, dispute resolution, and collaboration with internal teams to improve cash flow management.
Schedule:
hybrid work (2 days on site)
Monday to Friday, 8.15 am. to 5 pm.
Starting salary is $23/hr.

Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable and Data Analyst's duties include:
- Responsible for new account activation and processing of new customers using SAP, Salesforce, Paradox and Excel.
- Responsible for updating customer Master Data while keeping Data integrity.
- Ensure the accurate completion of application forms as each area is highly regulated by taxation laws and specific to each province.
- Perform due diligence investigation on customer profiles prior to activating accounts.
- Verify customer history of bankruptcies and previous ownership with ITL though bank references and trade references.
- Collect returned payments for delinquent accounts using risk assessment.
- Recommend sending delinquent accounts to our third-party collection agency.
- Support with the releasing of orders flagged in the system with credit validation checks.
- Continuous contact with team members, account representatives and customers regarding investigations conducted.
Qualifications
The Accounts Receivable and Data Analyst must :
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
- Bilingual English-French.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP (an asset)
- Experience in credit and collections (an asset)
