Flexible schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week, based on employee needs.
Responsibilities
Oversee the timely processing of a high volume of vendor invoices/credits.
Support the accounts payable process as both a leader and a hands-on contributor by reviewing and processing payments.
Ensure that the accounts payable function conducts a three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
Verify that invoices are properly coded to ensure:
Self-assessment of sales/use tax compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
Accurate G/L account numbers and detailed descriptions for each transaction.
Ensure the accounts payable team promptly archives and scans all documents.
Serve as a liaison between the Longueuil office and corporate headquarters on accounts payable matters.
Supervise and participate in month-end closing activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
Held a similar role in the past
Languages spoken: English and French
Good knowledge of Excel and an ERP system
Training in accounting
