Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming invoices, manage vendor correspondence, handle payment batches, wire transfers, and EFT transactions.
Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile accounts monthly, ensuring accurate data entry and identifying discrepancies.
Vendor & Customer Management: Create and maintain vendor and customer masters, manage credit limits, handle customer setup, and monitor accounts.
Cash Applications & Credit Control: Apply cash transactions, process wire transfers, and handle credit blocks and collections.
Supporting Documentation & File Management: Prepare non-inventory purchase orders, attach documentation to invoices, and manage financial files.
Ad-Hoc Accounting Support: Serve as a back-up for AR/AP, receptionist tasks, and provide assistance during month-end and year-end close.
Year-End Preparation: Support external auditors during the year-end process and perform account reconciliations as required.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years in a similar accounting role, with exposure to both AP and AR functions.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; advanced skills in SAP are an asset.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and accuracy skills, able to manage a high volume of tasks.
Team Player: Collaborative with excellent communication skills to handle customer and vendor inquiries professionally.
