Our client is looking for an accounting technician with over 2-3 years of experience to join the team for a 12 to 14 month contract. The technician will be asked to participate in the full cycle, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, month end tasks and more!

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Process daily bank reconciliations
• Enter and apply cash receipts from remittances
• Enter ACH, EFT, and wire transfers in the Accounting System
• Ensure month end reconciliations as assigned
• File, scan and photocopy for corporate accounting and non-trade Accounts Payables
• Support in the maintenance of a variety of month end schedules
• Aid in the reconciliation of select vendor and or customer accounts;
• Assist with the month end account reconciliation;
• Ensure copies, scans and reports are properly documented for the associated schedules;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a relevant role
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Formulas)
- Excellent communication skills in English and a functional (6/10 minimum) french
- Must be highly adaptable and autonomous
