We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable and Payroll Technician to join the accounting team of our client located in downtown Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, maintaining accurate and seamless bookkeeping, and handling employee payroll under the supervision of the director.

Hybrid schedule with 2 days working from home after in-office training.
Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Handle the full accounts payable cycle.
Prepare journal entries related to payroll.
Enter supplier invoices, expense reports, and credit card transactions.
Respond to payment requests from lawyers.
Record client accounts in the accounting system and process deposits (checks, transfers, etc.).
Contribute to month-end closing and analyze general ledger accounts.
Assist staff in case of absence (client accounts, reception support, etc.).
Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
DEC or AEC in accounting or administration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting in a similar role.
Excellent spoken and written French, and professional-level spoken and written English.
Knowledge of Maître and Employeur D is an asset.
Motivated, versatile, detail-oriented, and discreet.
Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
