The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring smooth and accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the financial operations of the organization.

Responsibilities
Handle various tasks related to payables accounting.
Prepare payroll-related journal entries.
Assist in verifying bi-weekly payroll and group insurance invoices.
Enter supplier invoices, expense reports, and credit card transactions.
Manage payments to suppliers and employee reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with supplier payments according to company policies and budgets.
Respond to payment-related requests from lawyers.
Record accounts receivable in the accounting system and process deposits (checks, transfers, etc.).
Contribute to month-end closing and analyze general ledger accounts.
Support the finance manager with financial analysis tasks.
Perform accounting entries and adjustments.
Assist during staff absences (accounts receivable, reception support, etc.).
Provide ad-hoc support to the accounting team for reports and audits.
Participate in annual budget preparation.
Maintain clear and organized filing of both paper and digital documents.
Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
DEC or AEC in accounting or administration.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Maitre and Employeur D is a plus.
Excellent spoken and written French; intermediate English for client communication.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, versatile, detail-oriented, and discreet.
Team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
