Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include as an Accounting technician:
Processing full payroll using accounting software
Bank reconciliations (credit cards and expense accounts)
Government remittances (DAS, GST-QST, and CCQ)
Managing accounts payable and ensuring thorough follow-ups
Project-based accounting – opening new files
Balancing account statements
Month-end closing and financial statement preparation
Preparing T4s, Relevé 1, and other year-end documents
Any other related tasks
Qualifications
The ideal profile will be as follows:
DEC, AEC, or DEP in accounting or any other relevant certification
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in a construction company (an asset)
Positive attitude and dynamism
Strong organizational skills
