Responsibilities
Reconcile vendor accounts balance and accounts payable balance
Make appropriate accounting entries to reflect transactions
Follow up with vendor credits and ensure vendor credits are taken and applied on a timely basis
Check authorizations and account coding
Perform data entry for vendor invoices
Communicate directly with vendors to resolve payment and other queries
File processed invoices
Assist in month-end activities such as accrual entries
Generate invoices and account statements
Perform some account reconciliations
Update all daily cash receipts to the system
Confirming daily deposits with the bank account
Maintain accounts receivable files and records
Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
Provide other accounting support as required
Qualifications
3+ years Accounting experience including invoicing, billing, accounts receivable and payable
Previous experience in hospitality industry, sales or another client focused environment
Ability to work onsite in downtown Toronto
Proficiency with Salesforce is an asset
