Responsibilities
Enter and verify financial data in the accounting system
Process vendor invoices and initiate payments
Perform bank deposits and ensure accuracy
Investigate NSF (non-sufficient funds) items and make necessary adjustments
Assist with bank reconciliations and financial verifications
Support the preparation of monthly reports and the annual audit
Help generate tax receipts for donations
Provide general administrative support to the finance department
Qualifications
Education in accounting or administration (DEP, AEC, DEC)
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting support role
Familiarity with Blackbaud platforms (Raiser’s Edge, Financial Edge) – an asset
Understanding of non-profit accounting principles – an asset
Excellent French communication skills (spoken and written); good level of English
