Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices to ensure payment completion
Responsible for processing vendor payments on a timely basis.
Reconcile vendor statements using monthly statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
Perform journal entries.
Reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Liaise with other departments with equipment or product purchases, track assets, and reconcile inventory usage.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Other accounting and administrative assignments as required.
Qualifications
College Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Accounting/Finance
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a similar role
Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and ability to work in multi-currency environments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
