Our client in the construction industry is looking for an accounting clerk to help in both the payables and receivables department as well as administrative tasks. This is a 12 month, 40h / week contract located in Ville St-Laurent / Mount Royal area. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 + years of experience, must have their DEC/ DEP/AEC in accounting, and must be fluent in French and a functional level of English.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
-Participate in all tasks of the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle
-Prepare invoicing and send to appropriate clients
-Register supplier invoices and all transactions in the accounting system
-Issue checks and transfers
-Prepare daily deposits, apply payments to specific invoices
-Preparation of documentation, reports, etc.
-Bank reconciliations
-Any other related tasks associated with the accounting department
-Administrative tasks including managing office supplies / stock
-Classifying / organizing of files
-And other adhoc tasks
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1-2 + years of experience in a relevant role
- Must have a degree in accounting
- Excellent communication skills in French with a functional English (7/10)
- Must be a team-player, must be organized and meticulous in your work
